Integrated
Technology Planning
Information
technology at FSU has continued to influence dramatically the way students,
faculty, and staff work, learn, teach and conduct research with new opportunities
to leverage technology occurring everyday. Information Technology (IT)
accomplishments have continued to provide infrastructure enhancements
in direct support of the University's teaching, research, and public service
missions. Accordingly, the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic
Affairs and Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration collaborate
annually with the Office of Technology Integration to request, collect,
collate and disseminate campus-wide information technology plans for the
coming fiscal year. These efforts result in improved technology coordination,
lower costs and a comprehensive campus technology infrastructure, without
constraining a unit's flexibility or creativity in addressing their needs.
